The Deconstructing Addiction League is a peer-led, community-based resource for people grappling with substance-use dilemmas. Our groups are facilitated by non-professionals who have navigated their own complicated relationships with alcohol and other drugs.

Our groups are organized around the practice of abstinence. At the same time, we recognize that some people may be looking to reduce their use rather than stop altogether. We want to be clear that we do not have the expertise to teach people how to moderate or reduce their consumption. However, our social events and broader community may still be useful to people who are seeking a different relationship with substances, including those working toward reduction.

If you are looking to revise your relationship to substances in a thoughtful, creative, and playful way, you have come to the right place.
